We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, set up a provider profile, or make a booking. This includes your name, email address, phone number, business details, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card data).
We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, features used, device type, and IP address, to improve our platform.
We use your information to provide and improve StyleDash services, process bookings and payments, send transactional communications (confirmations, receipts, reminders), display your provider profile to potential clients, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share data only as necessary: with Stripe for payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant), with service providers who help us operate the platform (under strict confidentiality agreements), and when required by law.
Provider profile information (name, business name, services, photos) is displayed publicly on the platform as part of your listing.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest. We implement industry-standard security practices including regular audits, access controls, and secure infrastructure. Despite our best efforts, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.
You may access, update, or delete your account and personal data at any time through your profile settings or by contacting us. You may also request a copy of your data or opt out of non-essential communications.
StyleDash is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of StyleDash after changes constitutes acceptance.
